--- ALL REGISTRATIONS ARE DONE ONLINE ---

Hobe Sound Little League (HSLL) serves all of Hobe Sound, Stuart, and Tequesta (we do not currently have a Softball program). Players are required to live within the HSLL boundary or go to school within the boundary to be eligible to participate in the league. Please use the Little League finder app, Little League Finder, BEFORE registering.

Hobe Sound Little League uses the School Enrollment Form as the primary proof of residency. Please print this form and have the school administration sign the form to verify that your player attends that school.  If you do this form then no other proof of residency (i.e. don't need the 3 proofs of residency) is required. You DO NOT need to have all the forms completed in order to complete the online registration.

If you choose to play in our league and are out of boundary please contact us ASAP to discuss the options available to you.

All players will need an updated Medical Release Form on file in order to participate.

Spring Divisons to choose from based on your child's age, ability and readiness:

T-Ball
T-Ball introduces kids to the basics of baseball. Players hit the ball off a stationary tee. The focus is on learning how to swing, run bases, and understand the field. There’s no pitching involved, and everyone gets a chance to bat.
Machine Pitch
Machine Pitch builds confidence in hitting a moving ball thrown from a machine - this helps them see consistent strike placement and allows them to focus on trying to make contact. A coach pitches from
the swing arm machine to their own players. Kids work on hand-eye coordination, learning positions, and basic gameplay.

⚾ Coach Pitch
Coach Pitch builds confidence in hitting a thrown ball that is not always a strike. It helps players begin to learn when it is appropriate to swing at a pitch but takes away the intimidation of another player trying to strike them out. A coach pitches to their own players by throwing consistent speeds that are appropriate to the players age. Kids work on hand-eye coordination, learning positions, and basic gameplay.
Minors (Player Pitch)
Players learn how to pitch to each other, and games include strike zones, walks, strikeouts, and base stealing. This level focuses on mechanics, game strategy, and preparing for competitive baseball in the majors division.
⚾ Majors (Player Pitch)
Players pitch to each other, and games include strike zones, walks, strikeouts, bunting, and base stealing. This level focuses on mechanics, game strategy.
⚾ Juniors/Seniors
This is the real sport of baseball with high school sized base paths and pitching mounds. This level of play involves traveling to play against other teams within District 17. (Martin, St Lucie, and Indian River Counties)

Practices:
Spring season is focused on developing players and begins with two practice nights per week, per team. These practices are always on a weeknight and are made at the coaches discretion. Our practice fields are JV Reed Park and William "Doc" Myers Park. All players will be notified AFTER teams are formed what team they are assigned and what the practice nights will be designated for that team. We try to help resolve practice night conflicts on a case by case basis. Any issues with scheduling need to try and be handled directly with the assigned coach. Evaluation practices based on level will be held January 12-23, 2026. Team practices will begin during the week of January 26, 2026.

Games:
Spring Season games are played Saturdays with times based on age/division. Every year there are small adjustments made to this based on number of teams and based on if we inter-league with other Little League teams. Rainouts are not guaranteed to be rescheduled, but when possible, we reschedule the game for the first available open day/time. Games will begin on Opening Day, February 21, 2026, and will conclude with divisional playoffs for coach pitch, minors, and majors division beginning the week of April 27, 2026.

Our Opening Day Ceremony will be February 21, 2026
Our Commencement / End of Season Ceremony will be Friday, May 15, 2026
